RE: Annual Staff Performance Evaluations for A&P and Classified Staff
It is time for 2020 annual performance evaluations for all staff employees. This does not include faculty members or student employees. The evaluation period covers January 2020 through December 2020. It will not be necessary to do performance evaluations for employees who had a satisfactory probationary or six-month evaluation in December 2020.
This year we are excited to begin utilizing ePerformance, an online module within UTShare, to conduct our 2020 and future performance evaluations. Employees may access the self-evaluation from their “Performance” tile and managers may access employee performance evaluations from their “Team Performance” tile in UTShare. We have included a short video to assist you accessing these materials.
We are all committed to valuing the contributions of our staff and to providing continued opportunities for success and career growth. The annual evaluation meeting provides managers and employees the opportunity to have a substantive conversation about past contributions and to set goals for the coming year.
Training for completing the employee self-evaluation and employee performance evaluation is currently underway with classes continuing through February. You may register for these training classes on the HR Learning and Development Calendar. In addition, training guides and videos are on the HR ePerformance resources page. If you are unable to attend our training sessions on the dates provided and you would like us to offer the training session for your department, please contact your business partner.
